St John's Wood is an affluent district of leafy residential streets in central London that serves its locals well. Boutique stores and chic eateries dot the high street, from renowned establishments such as The Ivy, to long-standing local favourite Panzer's Deli, to causal Parisian style fine-dining at the highly acclaimed Soutine.

Once part of the Great Middlesex Forest, St John's Wood was developed from the early 19th century onwards. In the 1960s and '70s it was made world-famous by The Beatles, who made many popular recordings - and one iconic album cover – at the local Abbey Road Studios.

Regents Park is within a short walking distance, with its magical open-air theatre, cafes, rose gardens and stunning views from adjoining Primrose Hill. The West End is a brisk walk away, or less than 30 minutes by bus.
St John's Wood locals also benefit from several popular cultural destinations close by, including picturesque Little Venice, The British Library, elegant Hampstead Village and Hampstead Heath, one of the city's most loved green spaces.
